Huaxing Zhongrui Nordic Park: A Poetic Blend of Architecture and Art

The design, themed "Earth Park," draws inspiration from the ethereal artistic conception of regional beauty. The designers have skillfully combined modern materials and techniques with light, shadow, and the interplay of open and closed spaces to create a space that embodies the poetic phrase "Mirror, Flower, Water, and Moon Poem, understatement of the painting."

What sets this design apart is its core element - the circle. From the exterior circular building structure to the internal spatial layout, the circle is a recurring motif. The design leverages the structural characteristics of the circular building, diverging outward to form a spatial pattern relationship of opening and closing, virtual and solid.

The realization of this design involved the use of materials such as Nok gray, Casser gray, glass brick, stainless steel, woodwork, and wall covering. Processes included built-in baseboards, arc-shaped hidden air-conditioning outlets, hidden light strips, metal grilles, and hard mounting of wall coverings. Covering an area of 1221 square meters, the design was completed in August 2019 in Fushan District, Yantai, China.

The design offers an engaging interaction for its users. Upon entering the art lobby, guests are greeted by the art installation "Ancient Temple Wonderful Spring," which serves as a historical ring of Fukuyama culture. The central sandboard area features a 360° all-round booth, providing a macroscopic whole. In the negotiation area, the circle border fosters natural encounters and discussions.

The designers faced the challenge of using the architectural characteristics to break the traditional linear layout, create an internal circular circulation, and provide viewers with a way to browse freely. The result is an artistic and poetic space that exudes lasting vitality.

The Huaxing Zhongrui Nordic Park design has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021. This award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
